Natural whetstones have a unique polishing ability. Japanese swords sharpened with natural finishing whetstones have an indescribable muted shine and a beautiful blade pattern. This is the unique appeal of natural combined whetstones. However, natural whetstones contain impurities that can damage the blade during sharpening, crack, have varying levels of hardness, and are very expensive, making them difficult for the average person to afford.
Thus, following extensive research, we have created the stable-quality, user-friendly, and reasonably priced synthetic whetstones that we have today. Although they are often less valuable than natural whetstones, synthetic whetstones are preferable to medium-grade ones in terms of quality. Our company also manufactures and commercializes finishing whetstones in-house, using our ingenuity to find the best compatibility of materials. We develop products that offer the same sharpening feel as natural whetstones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
