G-8 uses a mixed abrasive of white alundum (WA) abrasive and green carborundum (GC) with an average particle size of 2 to 1.5 microns.
By blending polygonal crystal GC, which have extremely high hardness, with WA, it is possible to obtain a smooth sharpening feeling in addition to grinding power, and it is possible to bring blades to a beautiful finish with a long-lasting cutting edge.
