This convenient, portable stick whetstone is designed specifically for removing resin from and sharpening pruning shears. Sharpen the blade repeatedly on the flat area of the blade in the direction of the arrow until a burr develops on the opposite side. The burr can be removed by closing the shears. Sharpening each side at a time will remove the burr.
